To our amazing fans - most of you will have noticed by now the absence of a certain Damian Tapley from the band - especially those that have been with us since the beginning. After a lot of soul searching last year Damian decided to leave to pursue other ventures and after 4 amazing years we played our last show with him in his hometown of Perth at the Big Day Out in January. There were tears and massive man hugs and we will of course always remain great friends but we traveled to Europe last month with a brand new guitarist called Mr Joshua Murphy!
Josh is an incredible song writer and guitar player and brings his own unique musicianship to the stage. We are super lucky and still super pumped to have found such an amazing and talented dude as Josh and THANK YOU to all of you who made him feel so welcome during our European tour last month.
We will be playing lots more shows in Europe over the summer and dearly hope to be back in Australia to tour at the end of the year. We are also working on loads of new songs which we cannot wait to share with you all!
This band is bigger than any one of us and will continue to evolve into ever different and fascinating shapes. We thank all of you for all your amazing support so far.

I went to see ME the other day (not my first time) and was super confused when Damian wasn't there but I just assumed he was sick or something. Josh was super cool to chat to though and had a really good stage presence :) It's still a shame about Damian though!

Yea, it was only cos I saw a post on here that I knew before the London show. I don’t know if the guys or Damian are planning on saying anything ‘official’ about it and I didn’t want to ask. Josh seems cool tho and major kudos to him for picking up those guitar parts so quickly!

Just a heads up for anyone who hasn’t been to a show on this tour yet or noticed a change to the About section on Facebook, Damian is no longer playing with the band. Josh is now playing guitar, he’s the dude in the photos I just posted that you probably saw and went, “Huh, who’s that?” He’s cool and seems to be doing a pretty good job so far, and that’s literally all I know on the matter!
